KIND WORDS FROM CATRIONA
“It was definitely my turn to push myself outside of my comfort zone last week.
I have been tossing around the same couple of tired-looking photographs for two years now knowing deep down that my branding photography needed a total overhaul.
The thoughts of smiling in front of a camera for a couple of hours filled me with dread let alone the idea of posting any of these photographs afterwards.
Enter Eva Blake of Eva Blake photography. I was told in advance that she had the knack of making the whole experience painless and dare I say enjoyable, but I wasn’t quite sure. After all, I still remember feeling like my face was about to crack on my wedding day over twenty years ago now.
As a coach, I bring all of me into my coaching sessions, my experience on the front line, my coaching knowledge and experience and my life experiences; being a solopreneur, a wife and a mom of four including a sixteen-year-old with an intellectual disability. Working from home has allowed me to build my business while still managing the home and never being too far removed from those all-important family matters.
Knowing what I know from Neuroscience, being able to walk out to the garden for 10 minutes to ground myself before a big zoom call really helps prime myself and of course, my morning walk in the local park, picking up a coffee on the way back is another big ritual of mine to set myself up for the day.
Eva managed to capture all of these moments on camera. She even managed to make the kitchen look tidy!!
For anyone looking for a painless and in fact enjoyable branding photography experience, I couldn’t recommend Eva highly enough.
I plan on continuing to live bravely and share much of her work on my (coming soon) new website. Thank you, Eva!”
